Not a bad essence. It has a calming effect. It feels a little sticky when applied, but as it absorbs it becomes more comfortable before applying a cream (I have combination skin, so I always cover the toner/essence with cream). It's a good product, but I still won't buy more because it runs out pretty quickly, compared to the I'm from mugwort essence, which lasts longer.
