I think it was a bit too early for my skin to incorporate azelaic acid into my skincare routine. My sensitive skin became slightly reddened by it. Once my skin barrier is stronger, I'll definitely try it again.

I bought this cream to try out after discovering that azelaic acid is good for treating perioral dermatitis, which I developed a few months ago and nothing else seemed to be working. I put the cream on at night and I have to say that after the first use I felt a difference the next morning. After a week my skin is less red and the irritation has subsided. I hope I can get rid of it completely. The cream is very light, not greasy or white, and has a pleasant scent. I will definitely order again.
